OHTSUKA CO., LTD, the parent company of O-Flex Group, Inc. was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1921. The family company produced manufactured solutions for industries such as automotive, construction, industrial and more.


In 1996, Ohtsuka established O-Flex, INC. in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to manufacture head impact energy absorption tubing.

O-Flex History


2000 - O-Flex facility expanded to 40,000 sq. ft.


2003 — Company restructured into the separate companies of O-Flex Group, O-Flex and REES.


2004 — A second site (57,000) constructed next door to manufacture steel and aluminum tube components used in air bag, seat belt and HVAC hose applications.


2005 — O-Flex Metal Finishing, Inc. was established with the acquisition of an E-Coat and Zinc Plating Company in Huntsville, AL.


2007 — O-Flex Metal Finishing combined with the acquisition of Southeastern Anodizing Company (SEACO) in Clanton, AL.
